Red and White Day

Our pupils wore red and white to support Cork Senior Ladies in the All Ireland Camogie Championship  Final on September 11th.  Cork were by far the superior team in the first half but somehow only led by 0-5 to 0-2 at half time.  The Rebellettes reserved their best performance of the past 12 months to record an extraordinary victory over champions Kilkenny with a close score of 0-10 - 0-9.

Retirement celebration for an t-Athair Ó Mhurchú

Our school held a special ceremony for an t-Athair's retirement.  He was presented with a book that held all pupils' signatures.  We thank an t-Athair for all the support he has given Scoil Mhuire na nGrást over the years.

Marine Week

During Marine Week, Ms Clancy's Second Class and the Green Committee enjoyed a Skype session with a Zoologist from Trinity College, Dublin.  The boys and girls devised their own questions to ask Dr. Stewart.  The children's art lessons were based on our theme of Marine Environments and these are on display throughout the school.  Rang a Do were the junior winners of the Spás Glas Competition. They are pictured wearing their blue sea bands.

Teacht le Chéile

We celebrated St.Patrick's Day during Seachtain na Gaeilge with a teacht le chéile.  Classes performed songs, dances and plays as Gaeilge.  Bhí an-spórt againn!
